This film is nowhere near as bad as everybody is making out. It's a fair attempt at a remake of "Chakushin Ari", a 2003 Japanese film. The plot sees several characters receiving phone calls from their future selves who can tell them when, where and how they will die.

While it might sound like a clichéd plot (there are certain trademarks of other films like The Grudge and The Ring throughout the film), Eric Valette does it justice. The characters are well played, the film builds suspense throughout and the result is a conclusion that everyone expected, but was still enjoyable.

To those that are slating this film, I ask them to ask themselves one question - if this had been released before titles such as The Grudge and The Ring, would you still give it such a poor rating?
