I could see what they where going for with this movie. They figured they would make a silly comedy and it might fall into the cool category and people would go to see it. The problem is that that movie (Super Bad) was released about a week after this one and it blew this garbage away. The basic story is that the main character is a bad stunt man who is going to do a jump to help raise money to save his step father. The idea that a kid with no training is a stunt man is never explained. The fact that he cannot actually do the jumps or any of the stumts could have made this movie funny but lets face it.. its not funny. The actually "funny" scenes consist of Rod running into things or getting hit or something to that affect. This looks like a long SNL skit. Samberg is not bad as a comedic actor but he needs more then this to make a movie. This movie is poorly written directed acted everything across the board. The only good thing about this movie is that it is short in length. This is a bad movie which is not worth a rental. Super Bad comes out the week after this one so skip this one and get that one.
