What can I say about Balls of Fury other than it was more entertaining than the latest Indiana Jones flick? Balls of Fury is essentially Enter the Dragon but instead of Kung Fu, the deadly art is ping-pong. Dan Fogler plays Randy Daytona, an overweight dude stuck in the eighties whose one talent is ping-pong. He's recruited by the FBI to infiltrate a secret underground ping-pong tournament run by the ruthless Master Feng, played by Christopher Walken who has the hamminess turned up to eleven. The movie is silly, absurd, and predictable, but it really does have some laugh out loud moments. James Hong plays a blind ping-pong master and he's hilarious. The other actors are pretty over the top, but in this kind of movie, it's okay.

It's 90 minutes of light and airy fun.

This was a pretty bad comedy. I liked the premise of the movie about ping pong, but that's it. I think I laughed about four times during the movie.

I left this movie thinking, "I want those 1 1/2 hours of my life back."

I think they wanted a Jack Black ,but what they got was the perfect replacement, the main guy nailed it. He was funny without being a Jack Black impersonator. I wanna see him in more stuff like this. The cast was very colorful and unique. If you like seeing balls get knocked around, this is a must. the movie was Funnny funy funay.

Ball jokes and dry humor can only keep you laughing long enough. As the movie progresses, though, the jokes become as funny as they tried to be in the beginning; and you begin to feel as though there is something that makes up for the beginning....

Pretty boring. The ending was good, but I can't say the same about the rest of this failure of a film. I only laughed about once or twice, and it was just so stupid I couldn't help but wonder why anybody else was in the theater.

I came in expecting not plot and humor that would either be a hit or a miss, with the hope that there will be more hits than misses of course. Well, it did live up to my expectations.

  The reason Balls of Fury works as well as it does, aside from its low aspirations, is because of the charm of Fogler in the lead. Like Jack Black, but not as sarcastic, he brings a winning enthusiasm to the role.
