One of the best films of 07 for me. It was great. The acting of Costner and Hurt was what I really enjoyed. Now, the ending...it was bad, but maybe a little to long, but it in no way ruined the movie for me. From start to end you're truly drawn into the life of Mr. Brooks, and though, honostly, he IS the villan, he can't help but feel sorry for him in many ways. NOw, this movie isn't for everyone, so I would recomend renting it before you add it to your DVD collection

Mr. Brooks was an outstanding film, that would have gotten a five start rating if it didn't have one fight scene that didn't fit in with the rest of the movie.

Mr. Brooks was fantastic from beginning to end, and kept the audience on edge throughout. The movie was truly unique, something that I hadn't seen before. The plot involved a man, Mr. Brooks, "Man of the Year," who is addicted to killing. One of his kills goes bad, and Mr. Brooks is confronted with a man who has a picture of him in the act of a murder.

The story progresses from there, and many more twists and turns occur. This movie was a great suspense/thriller, and one of the best movies of 2007.

Outstanding film. The concept is great and the plot is brilliant. I have one problem, hence the - half star. Demi Moore's character bothered me. The writers did kinda make it work though. If you enjoy psychological thrillers, watch this film.

Very nice? A lot of people disliked this movie, and I'm having a hard time understanding why. The acting was spectacular! I never thought much about Kevin Costner, but after watching the movie it was like instant love! Loved it, very mind provoking.

Surprisingly, Mr. Brooks is very "human", despite the cruel nature of his actions. I found it very profound.

Well, well what can we say about Mr. Brooks. The storyline is yet brilliant and clever that he has someone that is not really there but speaks to him. A brilliant movie about the hunger for more killing and he can do nothing to help it.

very different from any movie i have ever seen. a man who is obsessed w/ killing, and he does it extremely well, for he is never caught. while the beginning was a bit slow, the ending was tremendous.

Some decent action could be seen, thanks to the talented Demi! You get to see Kevin cry, which is maybe worth a half star. The nightmare scene was a spin to mention as well. You could jack my score up to maybe two more stars, but no 5 stars fool!
