And I liked the alternate ending better although the one they left was more suitable for the movie.

What a load of Bullocks !
This movie is absolutly rediculous, a total waste of time and money. You could feed so many hugnry children in Mexico with that production cost. Maybe all of them.

The movie is broken, disjointed, and still very predictable, which points to a total lack of imagination.
Meeting the shrink & the reverand are forced upon , has no real meaning or a connection to the plot.
Since I hate to spoil it in reviews, I'll only say its a dumb-shallow-foolish-waste of a film kind of movie.

I loved this movie...it was great in all ways, scary in a "lose the person you love" way, and sad in many ways. What i don't get is why so many people say they were confused by the ending. You have to think...unlogically? Think about it....

You have to think...unlogically? Think about it. Losing you husband has to be one of the most painfull things that can happen...the ending was showing that something good (her being pregnant, with a part of him inside of her) can come from the worst things. Well that is my take on the movie. Also, if you think about it. It's kind of saying everything happens for a reason. If she never got a premonition, maybe her husband would have went on with the affair, maybe she wouldn't have suspected anything about an affair, leaving an opening for it. If none of it happened they might have not made love for the last time before he died, leaving her unpregnant. I dunno maybe I'm over thinking it, but it's how I feel =)

This movie was pretty good. But if it did not have Sandra Bullock in it, I probably would not have watched it. The preview was good for this movie, but the movie itself was kind of confusing. The ending was terrible, but surprising.

Sandra Bullock was beleivable and there was chemistry between her and Julian McMahon. It was mementoish in the beginning and more like what drams may come in the end. Over all I enjoyed it.
