I like this type of film. Its one of those real life situational dramas, where everything is presented with a shade of grey. things are not always what they seem. It really keeps you guessing, and holds your attention to detail, otherwise you would just become completely uniterested. Its important to watch because you never know, it could happen to you, and then what would you do? probably panic, but if you see this maybe it will help you think rationaly. I think most women are already paranoid enough as it is, and seeing movies like this just amplifys that. Women have a tendency to be defensive towards men and its not always fair, but this is not one of those occassions. In a way I can see how it teaches women to be cautious and teaches men not to push so hard. Still its a little disturbing. the setting is very cold and likewise the characters are too, except for the happy go lucky husband Roy played by the quirky yet charming Woody Haralson. However, his part isnt very key to this story. Its mostly about his wife. The woman that portrays her, was given a good role but, she didnt really do that much with it. I think she should have been more emotional. This movie will get your heart pumping and play a little on your fears from moment to moment. If your planning a trip far from home any time soon , dont see this flick or else youll be second guessing the whole thing. Its a scary thought, being so far from home and isolated with people you dont trust and can hardly communicate with. This film is a perfect example of feeling trapped.
