"An unintelligent and uncompromisingly lazy and incoherent mess of a film."

'The Hills Have Eyes 2', the sequel to the disappointing remake, is an absolutely vile, worthless, cynical, mean-spirited and contemptible film and there really is not a single reason to see it other than to see people getting killed very graphically. The plot is awful and never gets developed, the acting is atrocious, the characters are props who serve no purpose other than to get hacked to pieces and whose vocabularies range from "s***" to "f***".

This film is also an insanely gory one. Being a huge fan of gore myself, I certainly wasn't disappointed with this aspect, and this film almost overflows with some of the most graphic and bloody violence ever allowed in a modern mainstream horror film. There is at least one reason to see it, but it does not even remotely influence the film's overall grade.

As you can probably already see, I don't give out zero stars very often, but this film truly is a worthless, ugly, despicable pile of trash, completely devoid of artistic intent and is merely a lazy cash-grab sequel to a movie that wasn't worth watching to start off with. And delta_116326, 'The Hills Have Eyes 2', remarkably, has even moronic characters than those of the original remake.

I really liked how they used armed National Guard soldiers in this movie as the "victims". This is an entertaining film horror buffs will like.

Better than the first. At least the characters arent complete morons.

This movie isnt as good as part one ,ok its just not a good movie why i say so its not so creepy as the last one its quite predictatable,the movie isnt as brutal as the last one and story in the last one was so much better,they tried to make it better but its funny how half of the people in the movie get killed by being dropped of the cliffs and i never knew they had a kitchen were they keep all those bodies i wonder were they got all those people in the middle of the desert,i mean i thougt they just eat the people there and then,they really tried to make it scary....otherwise its a terrible movie..
