I don't know much about Iron Man but I did see the recent big screen adaptation and bought this because it was cheap. The story was the biggest downfall in this film. Iron Man against ancient Chinese elementals? The whole cheesy 'Modern Age against Ancient Evil' formula that has been put in so many films as a cheap attempt to get out a DVD at the same time as a big motion picture. The creators on the special features 'Origins of Iron Man' said that they wanted a contrast between Iron Man and his enemies, well I don't think that made it exciting at all. The animation was ok. Iron Man and the Elementals were done in CGI so they stood out in the 'ok' action scenes. The rest of the film was done in the rubbish animie style where the movement stops always halfway through them doing something (someone goes to punch, their arm goes quickly, stops for a second and then goes full pelt again; as if that makes it look more powerful). Overall, the film was Ok, not worth more than 2.5 (for trying). No match against the proper movie or even any of the Hulk movies.

Eh, this film was okay, but just that. It was kind of boring at parts andthe end was weird. I'm glad that the live action movie didn't turn out like this, but for being in Marvels animated line, it was god, although dcsdtvs are better. There was, perhaps too much time spent with Tony captured. What i will give it, however, is that it is a lot better than what i thought. This is only a film for comic fans, like myself, but will dissapoint those who want to see more after seeing the live-action movie.

I am not a comic book guy for the most part and had never heard of Iron Man before the previews to this movie. I almost didn't even go see it, but the good reviews by the critics made me decide to give it a chance. I was NOT disappointed. It was fantastic. My Social Standards now has my whole review. Check it out at our site, http://mysocialstandards. blogspot. com to see it.

I just saw the best(maybe not the best but one of them) animated superhero dvd's over the weekend and it was the new Iron man DVD that came out on the 23rd of January. The graphics were wonderful, the story was great and it was one that pulled you in from start to finish, the characters were true to the original story, and so much more. There was one flaw that I seen in this movie and its that it takes to long for it to gain speed and get into the action scenes and Tony Start only put on the classic red and yellow armor only once during the whole movie. You all will just have to watch it to see what I am trying to accomplish by this review To all who grew up with the Iron Man comic books then this movie isn't for you because it does change the storyline around a bit but its a worthy attempt. For all who just like to watch hero movies then add this one to your list. The way that it is set up there will no doubt be a sequel to this just as they did with the avengers movies.
Overall Grade is an 8.9/10

The Invincible Iron Man. Tony Stark, a man without a care in the world, except for himself. If you are a hardcore Iron Man fan, this is probably one you want to see. I'm not fimiliar with the origin of Manadrin, but I don't think they did him the way the should've. I think there could have been a whole lot more action and fighting between Iron Man and the Manadrin, but to my disappointment, there wasnt.
If you're not very fimiliar with Iron Man, you may want to rent this one first before you buy it. The disk also comes with a preview to the upcoming animated movie: Dr. Strange...and to me, that is well worth the $13.00 I paid.
For the lack of a good boos battle, I give it 3.5 out of 5. If it had been a better boss battle...I'd gave it 4.0

If you're really into Iron Man, you'll enjoy this movie, without a doubt.
If not, but you still like superhero flicks, it's worth your while.
If neither of the two conditions above apply to you, you might want to find something else to watch.
The film modernizes Iron Man's origins and brings you up to speed on Tony Stark and his many machine outfits, ultimately spending a good bit of screen-time in a variation on the original iron suit.
Mandarin as an ultimate villain and his henchmen elementals are grossly underused and Fin Fang Foom is downplayed as more of an annoying evil pet.
Still, for a first "solo" outing for Iron Man, it's not completely awful.
