Another great National Lampoons Film ! I recommend it to any1, who loves teenie-movies ! Great comedy !

A pointless exercise, much like the recent flood of straight to DVD sequels of past (cult) classics we have to ask why make this? Didn’t the original say all it had to without many questions left unanswered and without the Van Wilder of the title. Losing the star of the original, Ryan Reynolds, whose charismatic turn as the titular party planner went a big way in making the original so entertaining. With such an obvious disadvantage this cash in is already off to a struggling start. It falls to Van’s underling Taj Mahal Badalandabad to carry the movie, set this time in, the fictitious but prestigious Camford University. The material is flat and the join the clichés plotting, with large lifts from everything from Animal House and Old School to episodes of the Simpsons, fits neatly over the formula of the first film but with such large gaps between real laughs the whole thing struggles to gather any momentum. There are plenty of set pieces and certainly enough boob flashes to fill the quotas but not enough to stretch the premise for the duration. Taj could have been saved a trip and we could have been spared from 1 hr 35min of laugh free college romping.

A better movie that the horrible original which came out in 2002. This movie is better is not a little cleaner. Taj goes to Englend to get a few british frat brothers to fight back. Still to dirty to recommend.
