This movie is one of the best comedies I have seen in a very long time. When I first saw the trailer, I was a bit skeptical about the what it was about. The film starts off a little offbeat and in the end you start to die laughing. The dark humor makes the story relatable to real life. The way they introduce the characters is interesting, and you get to know them one by one. The story is about a family of losers struggling in life. But the closeness between each member is very tight, and that's what'll make you love Little Miss Sunshine. Steve Carrell gives an awesome performance. Its nice to see a comedic actor who is so goofy in other films yet in this film he doens't use baudy humor but offers a humor that is hard to perform naturally. You won't be disappointed.

Another character i like was Steve. I reckon he did a fantastic job. I loved the way how he runs. Just too funny!!! And the sarcasm conversation. In the script, yes i read it, when Dwayne and Frank are killing time they go out to the pear, in the script they go surfing, and they have a longer discussion, but when they come out of the water, they go into a t shirt shop and find shirts that says "LOSERS", that made me giggle to, after how much Richard hates "losers". But all in all, a vary good movie.

abigail is priceless in this movie totally love her. steve carrell in the serious/dry humor is great. this was a instant classic I will be enjoying this film for years.

This movie is great sooooo funny and so heartwarming. Steve is great he shows he doesent just do sex comedies! Abigail \breslin is great i was really rooting for her to win the oscar! All in all number 1.

A very surprising movie all about a dysfunctional family trying to get a little girl to the Little Miss Sunshine competition and all the drama and comedy that ensues. At first you think the movie is going to be dramatic but the then they turn it into a very funny comedy. It is very, very funny from everyone having to help push start the VW van and then having to jump in while the van is in motion, the son refusing to talk until he gets into the Naval Academy and him trying to communicate with pencil and paper, the cocaine using grandfather who means well and the ill-equipped little girl who's dream was to enter the competition that she should never have joined. With Alan Arkin, Steve Carrel and Greg Kinnear the movie would have to be hard pressed not to have great comedy in it. It is a good, dramatic, comedic movie that is sure to make you laugh, possibly cry and show you that maybe you don't have it so bad after all.

the humor was hardly there and the only part i liked about it was the cussing grandpa and when they had to run to get into the car.
