    This movie was awesome, and while it wasn't a 10/10 for me, it was still a great ass movie, whats up with the bad reviews?

    I think some people were looking for more to the story.  I thought it was an excellent film.

    I think it was a great movie and the CG was done nicely in it.

    I guess those who review it are not really into Computer generated content and prefer more time placed into story lines and dialog.

    Yeh it is insane, I'm sorry but those critics wouldn't know a good movie if it was thrown at them, lodged in their head and said "Hi". This deserves a meta score of at least 90!!!!!!

    To me, the film was a visually exciting piece, but to newcomers who aren't familiar with the comics, I think they weren't expecting the linear plot and the strict focus on style.

    I really just wonder what happened to having fun when watching a film.

    This film is great fun yet gets a poor score. A Movie is supposed to entertain, and this more than delivers but it appears everyone is looking for the next Godfather in movies these days and seem to forget that some movies, i.e 300 and Transformers are made purely to entertain people for the 2 hours they spend watching it.

    yeah a little bit more to the story would have been nice but it was still a good movie

    it was a short myth to begin with... I'm surprised Miller and Snyder could get this much of a plot and dialogue out of it... i mean, the original was just "There was this king called Leonidas... he got 300 Spartans into the Hot Pass to hold back the Persian army... and they were able to hold it against all odds, long enough for the rest of Greece to decide what to do... the end... Not much in way of characterization or political intrigue...

    300 is an awesome movie! But I think it got bad reception from critics cause it's not historically accurate.....

    tbh I dont listen to critic's they give films like 'there will be blood' really high scores yet imo that film is the pinnacle of boredom, its just critics want their films to have a plausible plot.

    to the guy that said it was a myth. you are wrong. Its a piece of glamorized history. a myth is a fictional story that has no real aspects.
