Knocked up is F'n hilarious movie about unwanted and unexpected pregnancy. Seth Rogan and Katherine Heigl both give really funny perfromances, as do Jonah Hill, Leslie Mann, and Paul Rudd. They should do a sequel. with the kid grown up.

I don't really like or understand why Katherine Heigl is popular (maybe because I don't have a vagina nor watch either crappy shows she's on?)...but that's besides the point. This movie was pretty good...not great, and yeah, kind of formulaic...

This movie was pretty good...not great, and yeah, kind of formulaic (but, wtf, it's a romantic comedy, what do you expect, right?)...but there are some really great parts interspersed throughout (the throwin dice move will ALWAYS make me laugh)...One of the main things I enjoyed was the DVD content, which was jam-packed & had lots of extra funny, which is always a bonus. It's a 4-star worth buying, I think...lots of cameos in this one too.

Note: I watched this movie TWICE...because the first time I was too stoned & didn't remember much of it...I was glad I got to see it again the next day because there were some really funny parts I had forgotten...

pretty good alot of humor and really good jokes not for everyone though but I think the majority of movie veiwers would enjoy it some parts I have to admit are a little awkward and dumb and unlikley

I believe that this is the pinnacle of real-life comedies. It has a huge heart, and it is incredibly hilarious. This is the kind of movie that may just change your life.

After being majorly dissapointed by "Superbad", I was definately more than just a little bit sceptical when I came to buying this film. Especially as several of the main characters were classed as lay-about stoners, a comedy stereotype I am not a fan of at all.

......what an ejoyable surprise it turned out to be.

Although I wouldn't class it as a comedy great, this film is an improvement over "Superbad" in every way.

The "Stoners" in the film proved be a lot more likeable than what is normally considered a typical "Bong Head" persona portrayal. Jonah Hill turns down the crassness, and actually comes across as a reasonably likeable comedian, and Seth Rogen pulls off his most likeable character I've seen so far. Even Katherine Heigl proves that she can do comedy, and not just be someone who has a pretty face and nice figure, and their is definately good on-screen chemistry between her and Seth Rogen.

Unfortunaely the biggest dissapointment, imo, was the normally likeable Paul Rudd, who along with his onscreen wife, provides a fair amount of unwanted, uncomfortable to watch, marital bickering. And their kids are fairly dull and cliched too.

But apart from that, this is definately one of the most enjoyable comedies I've seen of last year, and proof that although Judd Apatow, might not be able to pull off as many laughs as the majority of "Frat Pack" movies, he still can carve a comfortable niche for himself in the comedy genre.

Despite the fact that it's a sex comedy, it's heart warming. Definately one of the funniest Appatow comedies. And just a hint, if you're at Blockbuster, contemplating whether to rent Superbad, also directed by Appatow, or Knocked Up, rent Knocked Up. I personally did not like Superbad.

This is a comedy, so most of the very raunchy humor comes from Ben. The twist is the realism and heart comes from Katherine. Put this two together and the movie worked well for me.

The second half gets a tad serious, focusing on the on/off relationship between the pair getting to know each other. These scenes are portrayed with just the right amount of warmth without becoming too sickly. Enjoyable and sprinkled with great humour throughout.
