Let me get this straight: there's a monster, and there's something to do with diamonds, and coal is flying up into the air all of a sudden, and-- oh, let's give up. Just surrender to the wildness of the plot. This movie isn't quite sure whether it wants to be "The Thomas Crown Affair," one of the Godzilla films or "The Blob." Still, the acting isn't bad, and the plot moves along at a brisk pace. "Dogora" is a fun movie and makes for something good to watch on a rainy afternoon.
