cat in the hat is based on the poem buy dr.suess now that was the best of dr.suess but this is the worst of dr.suess in the movie it takes place in city called i dont know i forgot but this isnt that very good movie but its good for the kids just kidding its not its ah total nightmare i have to admit the casting in it was ok but the dismal script was horrendous that made the movie terrible but so far conrad and sally were bored and they later find ah cat in the closet that does some of the most perdicble stuff its not funny its ratheir dumb and its also has some of the worst coustume desgins ever and it looks patheic this were the cat looked creppy what ruins the movie is its terrible adult themes that made the people not laugh and totaly disgusted with to make things even worse the awful story ruins the entire poem it doesnt make any since you may actual be better off reading terrible fan-fics right now its like they re-wrote the story to crappnise but its ok the ending was dismal with some off the worst casting ever from overall rating i give this movie

2 and half-stars out of 5.

The Good: it has mike meyers...........

The Bad: the ruined plot and humor makes the poem into sham lousy casting and directing some of the worst desgins ever to be made.

The Ugly: the kids (conrad and sally) are so bratty and the attempts at humor dismaly fall-flat its so not funny the ending is lame.

I can't believe I bought the movie on DVD! I use to think it was a good movie, now it's the worst movie I ever bought. They have too many bad sick joke in this film, So I give this movie a thumps down. Because it's not worth watching.

"The Cat in the Hat" was such a disappointing film. I thought that Mike Myers would be great in it, but the film was just much too gross for children. The humor, I thought, was too dirty. That and the script was just terrible.

A very bad boring kids movie form a book that i love the book but i dislike the movie a lot this is most like my least favorite movie of all time and the cacaters of the moive are so boring that you do not care what happens.
