Grizzly Man is easily one of the most interesting documentaries I've ever seen. Using Timothy Treadwell's own life, Herzog tells a tale of a man whose greatest love was his own downfall.
Herzog has an interesting way of showing what kind of man Treadwell is. While he can be labeled as a liberal nut (a side that is clearly present in the film), his intentions were very good-hearted, and the audience is left feeling neutral on whether to like or dislike the main character.
A great film, filled not only with the harshness that is the nature of the beast (pun intended), but also a lot of humor.
