I watched the trailer for this film before it was at the cinema and wanted to watch it. I got it cheap on DVD and was surprised. In my opinion, the critis rated it too low (which is what put me off seeing it at the cinema when it came out). I think the actors were perfectly cast (even thought I never heard of most of them). The story was predictable but that doesn't matter because there were enough laughs to keep the film fun.

I liked the characters a lot, which also made the film enjoyable. The 'take things easy' guy who does just what he needs to at work to not get fired and the 'creep who has an underling'. The acting was good (not that much is needed for a comedy) but you really did feel like those actors were like that or knew people like that.

Overall, well worth a watch. You might even like it more if you work in retail. A good laugh.

I have to say the relationship between Vince and Jorge kept me laughing to the end. The cast was pretty good and some of the jokes worked really well. If you like comedies I recommend you watch this one.

I thought this was a pretty funny film. I saw it in theaters and I really thought it was good. Dane Cook is very good in this movie. If you got Showtime its ON Demand. So I'd Watch it.

I have to admit that this movie is not a bad movie. Its pretty much your normal stupid movie with some funny scenes sometimes. The plot of the movie has Simpson coming to work as a cashier in a "costco" type of place. Her personal file says she goes for the employee of the month. Cook is the slacker type who decides he wants to be the employee of the month to be with simpson. Shepard plays the current employee of the month for like 18 months in a row. He is going for the record and he wins a car if he does. In comes the whole competition aspect of the movie where comedy was supposed to ensue. I cannot say this movie is not very bad but its not very good. The whole you can top this aspect is interesting but I cannot recommend this movie for a rental.

I thought this film was average, it was funny in some places but not sidesplittingly funny, just a laugh here and there. Basically it's about these guys that need to win the employee of the month in order to get with this new check out girl (Simpson) who I'm glad wasn't in the film that much, I think she's stupid and untalented. Dax Shepard however was the funniest thing in this film and is quickly becoming a favourite.

At the most I'd say watch this film once, it doesn't have much of a rewatch factor.
