Take The Protector's amazing martial arts and mix it in with a good storyline and what do you get? One of my favourite martial arts movies ever. Fearless follows Huo Juan Jia (Jet Li) a legendary fighter who ultimately wins the respect of the whole country for his handling of personal tragedy and strength to defeat the west's greatest fighters. The movie starts off with the tournament from the west where Huo is to defeat 4 of their fighters consecutively, we don't see all of it as the movie takes time to go back an explain how all of this became. Throughout the movie we see the tragedy, the training and the motivation behind Huo and his quest to be the best. I really enjoyed watching this movie with its Hero-Like pace and flashbacks, to Tony Jaa worthy martial arts and fights. If you like martial arts movies you're in for a treat - even if you're not this movie would still entertain.

A well told story filled with action and intensity. I enjoyed everything about this film. There was hardly a moment that didn't hold my interest. The stroy had meaning and purpose, it was creative and realistic. I would much love to see it again.It is a real shame that this has to be Jet Li's last martial arts movie, at least he will have a strong and worthy departure. This movie should be enough to please any martial arts fan, it had just about everthing you would expect and more. The acting is done so well that you almost know what the characters are going to say before they speak, and you almost forget your reading subtitles. Two Thumbs up.

A well told story from begiinning and end. It's so sad how it ended.
The movie engulfed you into his world and how he was dealing with certain things in his life.
When he found himself, it was beautiful.
