The character study portion of the film is fairly well done, with a decent acting effort put in by Will Smith, but unfortunately it sometimes gets a little too bogged down, and causes the film to drag a bit.

The character study portion of the film is fairly well done, with a decent acting effort put in by Will Smith, but unfortunately it sometimes gets a little too bogged down, and causes the film to drag a bit.

The actions sequences are okay, but nothing amazing.

The monsters themselves, well they did look a bit dated, but I dont think they looked as bad as a lot of people have said they did.

Overall: An interesting concept for a film, but it needed better pacing.

Awesome movie. Was crying the whole time. Major tearjerker. Good story line, not hard to follow. The saddest parts were the dog dying and the family dying. Loved it.

I never thought I would say this about I am legend is really good not bad it all and has good not great effects the monsters could have used more work other wise this is a good movie all around even the dog does a good job.

Everything Is Not Alright
Robert Neville (played by Will Smith) is the last man in a deserted city so it seems. He is left with his dog, but otherwise he is abandoned. A woman, in the beginning, is interviewed for finding the cure of cancer but it backfired and nearly everyone is affected by this problem. It starts with one person who turns into a night lurking creature craving for blood (similar to a vampire or zombie). This person bit another person and that person became infected and so on. Animals were also infected by this disease. These horrifying creatures come out at night in the search of blood. Anyways, Robert Neville is left and researches these creatures. He aims to find a cure. I Am Legend is a great movie that keeps audiences on their toes with the numerous thrills. The movie seems very realistic and the acting is phenomenal. It shows that Will Smith can be both a comedic and serious character. While this movie is on the sad side, it is a fantastic piece of cinema that should not be missed by anyone. It has some humor throughout, even though it is melancholy.I Am Legend scores itself a 4/5 stars

This film has everything, a great storyline, great actors, great special effects and I must say that this is a pretty cool movie, watch this if you wanna watch a perfect sci-fi.

This storyline has been used abit too often, but was done well in this film. The film sets must've been really big and the scenes turned out pretty well.
