1. At The End | Jun 25, 2008 11:06 am PTWhat do you think Tony Stark ment at the end, when he said they were going to form a team? Who's they, and who's going to be in it? What do you think?

It was at the end of the movie, and he and General Ross were in a bar. Tony Stark said that they were going to form a team, and General Ross asked "Who's they?"

That Tony (IronMan) showed up at the end of the movie saying "we r making a team" (or whatever), it's like a hidden message... in marvel comics, there is this group of super heroes called "the Avengers", i can only remember three or five members... i'm not sure about the 4th and 5th, and i can tell if there r even more... but as far as i know, they r: Spiderman, Ironman, Hulk... the 4th and 5th is wolverine, and Captain America....

Yes, they or he (Tony Stark) refers to a group that will be called 'The Avengers'.
Which is a group of superheroes as said before, already existant in the comics.
First Samuel L. Jackson drops in on Tony Stark as the character 'Nick Fury'
and tells him he's working on this group, trying to get 'Iron Man' on their side I guess.
Then in 'The Incredible Hulk' Tony Stark spreads the word towards General Ross.
That's probably because then the General changed his mind and got on the good or rather right side/track.
If not, it was a mistake of Stark to tell him, unless he turned bad because of Nick Fury, which I doubt.
ALSO, the movie for 'The Avengers' is set to be released for 2011, it does have a page here already.
But it seems a bit early, especially since "Iron Man 2" is set for around that time.
So I think it will ultimately be out in like 2012 or 2013 perhaps.
I would love to see many of those big superheroes on the big screen at once.
However, I would really really prefer them to all be the original/same actors and same animations.
Or else it's not like... familiar and all, which just makes it less exciting...
Personally, I really love how they tie these movies together like this.
It makes things just more exciting when movies are actually merged.
Like Tony Stark from the actual 'Iron Man'-movie popping up in 'The Incredible Hulk'.
EDIT:
Note it could also be that "the group" possibly called 'The Avengers'
could also be called 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' instead.
That's also a name in play here, but it's all not exactly clear to me yet.Edited on Jul 16, 2008 1:56 pm PT Edited 2 total times.

10. At The End | Mar 29, 2009 10:09 am PTIn the Iron Man movie at the end I think they are referring to the Avengers. Now as for the Incredible Hulk I think it refers to the next movie. See Tony makes something called Hulkbuster. He even makes a suit for himself and he and hulk fight at one point. The 2nd movie will obviously have Samuel Stern as...I think he was called "Leader". He has a big head and is green. Anyways I think the Hulkbuster might show up sometime and the Avengers is also hinted.
