Are We Done Yet? I hope so. I was so happy to here Ice Cube make a sequal to the great movie of Are We There Yet?. But now watching this movie Are We Done Yet? this movie really tried so hard to make people laugh and it failed. The kids looked bored in this one thats the truth in the first they were having loads of fun in this it feels kind of serious. Then their is John C. McGinley he plays Chuck a man who does everything a police man, a builder, house wife do i need to go on thats over the top. John C. McGinley i don't mind but in this movie he was annoying. Ice Cube i thought was good in this he tired to be funny but just never worked you can blame the people who wrote the movie for that.

Are We Done Yet? just really involves Ice Cube and his family to move into a big house that needs sorting out with a whole load of problems. This movie has it had tons of problems wrong with it watch the movie and see what i mean.

The funny parts are ok, but the storyline is a bit too normal, this movie is ok when you want to relax with your friends after work. ^_

This is a sequel to a popular kid's movie that was made a few years ago. It stars ice cube and boy has he come a long way from his hard core rapping days. He plays a step father to two kids who wants to give them a better life. So he moves his family to the burbs and they end up buying ahouse. The house ends up being a money pit as they have to pay loads of money to fix it up. Also his wife ends up being pregnant with twins which adds to the pressure. Mcginley plays the realtor/everything as he is the comic relief in the movie. Whenever they have any problems here comes mcginley. He is able to do everything fix the house this and that. I guess they figured they have to have a comedic relief but in the end its not really funny. Cube is decent as an actor but he is basically typecast. He plays the street guy and thats all he can play so far. The comedy is geared towards kids with a cameo by magic johnson. I would suggest this movie if you have kids at home because it is safe for them to see and I am sure they will find it funny.

Are We Done Yet? is an awesome movie. It is so funny and most of the actors and actresses are great. I just watched it on DVD and I gave it 5 stars.
