A very good movie based on a true story. The story line was done really well if maybe just a bit too long. I felt the performances were really good. Anthony Mackie had the best performance and struck me as a talented actor especially during the scene when he was taken out of the game due to injury. If you are a fan of films based on true story you are going to want to watch this movie.

Now yes, the film has a good beginning. But after the crash it gets a bit worse but I really did share the pain that went on in that day. Yes it was a good film but failed up to my standards. A good film though with Jack from Lost.

This was a heart-felt motion picture. If you are wanting to watch a football game, this is not for you.

This was a heart-felt motion picture. If you are wanting to watch a football game, this is not for you.

This film is not about football, but how to mourn the loss of a loved one. Back in the 70s most young men played football, this town lost just about all of their sons. The town wanted to shut the football program down because of their loss and I can understand that. But the dean continuously called, and wrote letters to the board of the NCAA for help and never got a response. He finally went to them begging.

We are not to forget the dead, but rather remember the life they lead. Every time you go to the field you could remember that team, and the fun they had on the field.

My father was 19 when this happened, and he never knew about about it until I told him last year.

I absolutely loved "We Are Marshall" because the action was great and so was the acting. The film was based on a true story and so the script had to hit the nail on the head. It did.
