It was ok. Sanaa Lahan is my favorite actress and I think she did ok in this part. The movie in itself was a little long.. and I didn't expect it to be so bland.

Finally, a smart and and funny romantic comedy. I really liked this movie, as it sets itself apart from the other romantic comedies. It follows a simple and easy storyline, they don't throw in the slapstick comedy, and if it was your typical romantic comedy, they probably would have added a rival to compete with Sanaa Lathan's character for her firm's partnership. Sanaa Lathan and Simon Baker are great together, and there scenes are over very quickly, the time flies by when they're on screen together. Blair Underwood was great, as I actually started hating that character during the film, with absolutely no reason to at all. Donald Faison's character really started getting on my nerves, about the time he showed up with his third new girlfriend. Mike Epps gives his best performance to date, it's a small role, but he shows he can actually act. The reason why I didn't give this a 10/10, is because of the ending which is sadly ripped from your typical romantic comedy. The ending was very weak, the whole movie was strong. Donald Faison's character, and the ending is what holds this back from me giving it a perfect score. 9/10.
