When the Littles decide to spend their summer vacation in the Great Outdoors, they have no idea that the Beast (a mountain lion who rules the wild with an iron paw) is lurking nearby. So when Snowball wanders into the woods and is captured, it is up to Stuart to save his friend and free the forest animals from the Beast's evil claws. Stuart along with his new friend Reeko, a skunk, who heroically rescues him, along with the other woodland creatures and outwits the wily Beast. It's a very big job for such a Little mouse, but someone's got to do it.
