Au Revoir Les Enfants is an amazing film that is extremely moving and emotionally powerful. It tells the tale of two boys, (one jewish, the other Catholic), their friendship during the chaotic days in World War II, and the challenges they face to try and be friends. Although the film has subtitles, you shouldn’t let that deter you from seeing this moving film. I’d recommend it to anyone who loves historical, dramatic, or foreign films. Be warned though, this movie will definitely bring a few tears to your eyes, so be sure to keep a box of tissues nearby.
