the films ok, if you have nothing to do. no actually i quite liked it to be honest, fair enough it's not the best, but i've seen worse.

I'm a big horror fan and this movie got my hopes up only to let them down. Usually the imdb.com rating wont stop me from expecting a good movie but unfortunately they're right this time. The movie is about the world being taken over by a computer...

I'm a big horror fan and this movie got my hopes up only to let them down. Usually the imdb.com rating wont stop me from expecting a good movie but unfortunately they're right this time. The movie is about the world being taken over by a computer virus that allows the dead to come through the electronics and like "absorb" you into their world. The movie starts out alright and a little slow and is maybe watchable till just after half the movie then it just starts getting ridiculous. Things happen that are beyond even close to maybe possible. Go see this movie if there's nothing left to see.

This movie recycles several ideas seen before. It also focuses more on the interaction between the ghostly creatures than on the story. It also does a poor job of establishing the characters. Not horrible, but could be way better.

I actually quite enjoyed this film. I don't see why so many people hated it. It didn't terrify me or anything, but I thought the concept was pretty good. The way it was filmed, special effects, actors, writing, and special effects I also enjoyed.

Many people say that this film copied off of other movies such as Fear Dot Com and others. I did indeed see some similarities. But what with the millions and millions of films out there now of course your gonna come across movies that are similar. And in my own personal opinion I think this movie was better than the ones people say it "copied off of".

I'll admit that at first I didn't quite get how in the begin everything was so slow moving and only a few people died, but at the end half the world was gone. I thought things moved WAY too fast for me. But then I thought about what it would be like if this really did happen and I believed it.

So, I think that if you haven't seen this movie you should at least give it a shot and ignore all the negative comments.

What can be said about this movie that has not been said. Have you seen this movie before? The answer to that question is YES. Its a remake of a similarly named japanese (I think) movie called pulse also. It is using the similar style that most of the horror movies are using now. The ring, the grudge have copied the japanese horror style of sudden jump cuts and things that the audience can see and not the people in the movie. The basic plot is that creatures attack human beings thru their phones and computers and such. A good thing about the movie is that its very short clocking in under 90 mins. The movie is very predictable except for the ending. The average hollywood ending is not done here which makes the movie different. Its not really worth a rental because its a movie you have seen before.

It's like "The Ring," but not as good. Characters are weak, ghosts are lame, acting is poor. One scene gave me a few chills, though.

I'm not able to like this movie at all. I've seen multiples movies that were having pretty much the same subject, so seeing another remake doesn't make me "happy".

Pulse could’ve been worse for a remake. Some of the acting is a bit over the top, but Kristen Bell and Ian Somerhalder do a nice job of supporting the rest. Having seen the original, it had quite a bit to live up to. I mean c’mon, who dares touch Kurosawa? The whole film has a rather dulcet tone about it, low lighting, and some great takes on the creepy visual effects(a la The Ring) needed to create an atmosphere that just screams, literally. Although it can be a bit jarring at times, because you’re not sure if they’re trying to keep that eerily silent angle, or shooting for scares. Primarily in the sense that the scares seemed a bit forced, rather than having that natural flow.

Part of what makes this film scary to watch, particularly as a rental, is that its most sinister scenes occur in places everyone has in their home. Sure it’s not exactly the most plausible premise, but if you want reality, there’s a whole TV network for that.
