Not since Fantastic Four is there a movie concept related to comic books that I find stretches the bounds of credibility so much that I'm surprised it has mass-market appeal. Hellboy 2 is a good movie, and the creatures featured in it are beautiful. I can hardly remember the first Hellboy movie but it's not terribly hard to get the gist of what's going on. The most interesting thing with this movie is the main villain is played by one of the former members of Bros. How random. Three stars.

I personally didn't like this one as much. It may well have looked better visually but it was just plain silly! Still, the whole concept of Hellboy is rather entertaining no matter what. Luke Goss also did a suprisingly good job in his role.
