Its what the movie is about. You can't argue that. The whole psychological part about life being so valuable and what not was pretty interesting, but I think at least, that Jigsaw, especially in this one, is really too much of a hipocrite on this subject (hey, trying to kill myself made we want to kill other people too ya know. Really!) to make it something that really made me want to care.

Anyway, to the gore and violence. Incinerating, blowing holes in heads, head-spike traps, needles (lots of needles!), wood spikes, electricity; theres a whole lot. I will say, the traps were cleverly designed though and definitely gives that kind of cringe factor.

I have to give it some credit. It really produces a really creepy atmosphere: not a typical horror one, but just the feeling of being confined and not being able to escape (also, how the HELL does he make a practically armored house? I don't care if hes got that girl helping, that would take a lot of work).

I'm not a fan of horror movies, but I liked the first Saw and like this one as well. The house was full of good traps and the ending contained a surprise that will definitely catch you off guard if you have seen the first movie.

From the moment I put this on I did not change the channel.
I honestly laughed a lot watching and the dialogue between Jigsaw and the cop was great.
And the reason for them all being connected was just very inventive.

Jigsaw talks so calmly and is always in control for a feeble man. The gore was there, but it wasn't over the top and it was used for a reason.
The ending was GREAT.

very good. My favorite of the series. The needle pit just messed with my head man! I was cringing for the whole scene. It was a little better than the first one, and it had a more gore, too. That is what makes a good horror film!

At least, that is what i think went through the producers' minds when they made this sorry excuse for a movie. Though I admit I have to give this movie some credit. Just like in the first one, the underlying web of connections the characters have with eachother is brought to light in a way that does make you go "Oooh, I should've know that!" for about three seconds. Not to mention the totally unexpected plot twist at the end.

Sadly, the quality of a movie does not simply depends on what happens at the end. How surprising and shockingly amazing it might have been, the fact remains that the middle part sucked. A lot. No, you can't save a movie by putting a guy in an oven or letting someone bath in a pit full of used needles. (Where'd he get those anyway?) If you're going to make your movie depend on gore, atleast do it right.
