Zach Braff in a movie, making a movie, or in the same sentence with the word "movie" will create something amazing. I mean the ending, I found to be somewhat unrealistic...How often do you take back your cheating boyfriend after he cheats on while you're pregnant? Its a great message though, "love" or whatever we suppose "love" is could exist. The movie sheds light on a very realistic view on life, and love. The perfect life is never perfect, or the way we'd want it to be. And when we do get what we want, its never enough.

"Stop talking about love. Every **** in the world says he loves somebody. It means nothing. It still doesn't mean anything. What you feel only matters to you. It's what you do to the people you say you love, that's what matters. It's the only thing that counts" I like this quote and has stuck with me after hearing it.I enjoyed the film, Zach Braff was as excellent as ever and Jacinda Barrett was a revelation as the put upon girlfriend. What I didn't like was the idea that it's okay to be a childish **** if you're scared enough of growing up.

not a groundbreaking storyline but the actors grasp the characters giving them good dimensions, the music and pace of the film is really up to spec, its definatly a good film and i would reccomend anybody watch, zach braff is great for the role

Slow, plodding, unbelievable. These are a few words that can be used to describe this 2004 "wanna be romance." As Michael (zach braff) approaches his mid-30s he and his pregnant girlfriend begin to do "grown up" things, such as find a house and talk about their future. When Micheal is scared by this he runs for cover under the sheets of a young flirtatious girl he meets at a friends wedding. It is hard to feel sorry for Braff's character, as he treated his girlfriend unfairly, but she is not quite a likable character either. All the characters are hard to get into, and the funny only funny thing the whole movie has going for it are the three best friends of michael who get almost no screen time at all. if you are looking for a good romantic-comedy, go for Garden State.

This is a very interesting film about life in your 20s and beyond. Braff plays a man who is about to get married to his pregnant girlfriend. A chance meeting at another friend's wedding reception finds him questioning his decisions. He meets a younger lady and begins to get the itch. The rest of the movie follows him and what happens when he tries to reclaim the past. The acting in this movie is fine but nothing special. The script and plot are well done and there are some subplots with the other characters in the movie. I think the three way triangle is fine but the ending follows the hollywood blueprint to a tee. This is a solid rental worth seeing. The only reason why I give this movie 2 and a half stars is that the movie is very predictable with nothing special or different here. Not to say its bad but that again I cannot say its so good. At best its just average.

This movie is sweet. I really like Zach Braff in this movie, he was excellent, and Rachel Blison have a great acting from her side. This movie is awesome!
