What a great classical. At any stage I feel down I just put in this film to boost me. The on-screen romance between two great legends of the screen is done marvolously.

an award-winning classic, with plenty of singing (hence the name) and romance and an involving story to boot. musicals don't get much better than this, and its bound to keep you watching it over and over.

Mostly I don't like live action muscial singing, but this movie really is worth watching. It's a movie I would enjoy watching over and over again.
