I didn't realize this was based off of a Phillip Dick novel. If I had known that I would have seen this possibly in the theatre. Obviously the advertising didn't mention it.

The film was a pretty darned cool flick. Fans of the author's other work should all like this film. Nick Cage always does great in his roles, its too bad he's done some utter Hollywood crap mainly these days, but this isn't one of them. Jessica Biel is as hot as ever.

Like many movies, this one started out with a good concept but couldn't seem to carry through. For some unknown reason, some terrorists (I can't remember, were they Russian? I think they were Russian...) have decided to steal a nuke and blow up L.A. And the FBI is trying to stop them. Cue Nicolas Cage, a clairvoyant who can only mysteriously see two minutes ahead into his own life, unless Jessica Biel is involved. The acting was pretty dull. There were things that didn't really belong in the movie (yeah, Jessica teaches native Americans, we get it, she's nice), and they should have left out the last minute.

All the performances are lifeless dull, even the action scenes are naff, and Nicolas Cage's wooing of Jessica Biel is just painful to watch.

Its not like I didnt like it, I jost thought that it had a bad ending and the directing could have been improved. Cage could have acted better. I liked the story of the movie!

I found this movie surprisingly entertaining. Funny thing is that I hadn't even remembered the previews playing on TV but I thought perhaps with Nicholas Cage it would be decent. I wasn't disappointed. Now granted this movie isn't going to win...

Nicholas Cage shows, again, how incapable he can be when it comes to acting. His stale expression and his slow voice, probably his way of playing a sexy beast, are hideously annoying.

This movie radiates mediocreness. Despite the, I admit, excellent action sequences this movie would've been nothing were it not for Jessica Biel.

The acting level in this movie already lay so low, bringing in Jessica Biel could not bring it down even more. She would just have a positive impact, luring all the men to watch Next.
