Great fun. Mark Wahlberg plays the part of stalwart killer a little too well. I don't know how he is in other role typesbut this one really suits him. He did equally well in The Shooter. Outkast was great. Once again, I was surprised but not really. I've seen Idlewild and loved it. That movie was just visually impressive, the scenes and shots were innovative, the songs and dancing wild and creative. It was just a great bit of creative genius and he clearly has the ability to do more than sing. Tyrese was fine and so was the little brother. Nice to see Howard as well. I was a little disappointed to see his character go down like he did but his death served its purpose. Anyway, it was fun in that it was two hours of action and thuggery. Great to see a woman work within the foster system to better the children's lives and not themselves. There are too many stories about the abuses within the system and never about those who do good. Even these boys never really shed their Detroit attitude, you can see how they've grown because of her love and their connection as a family.

Great movie, great direction. The car chase scene while its snowing is great, the movie does justice to the way it depicts Detroit in winter. Some really solid acting by a good well rounded cast, hell even Tyrese and Andre Benjamin managed to hold...

Great movie, great direction. The car chase scene while its snowing is great, the movie does justice to the way it depicts Detroit in winter. Some really solid acting by a good well rounded cast, hell even Tyrese and Andre Benjamin managed to hold their own on the screen. I think the story could have been a little better developed during the start of the movie, as the action took just a little too long to get to, otherwise a great movie.
