What if Freddy, Michael and Jason were real killers? Elm St, Camp Crystal Lake are real places that had real killers. What if you were a student doing a documentary and you had a chance to see the beginning story of a killer whose idols were mass murders and serial killers? What if you were able to watch as he begins his story, his legacy that the killer hopes will live on just like the stories of all his idols. What would happen if as you were doing the documentary it all became too real and you decided you wanted out? It's too late...or is it? That is this movie. It is a different take on the horror genre and it is done very well. You the killer, Vernon, design his own story, his beginning, and you see him set it all up from where it will all take place, how he will keep them there, who he will kill first all the way up to what will happen if this person does this and this person does that. While the horror part of this movie is no more than that of a 80's hack and slash'er, the different take on this Comedic-Horror movie is worth watching and for some horror fans, worth springing for the DVD.
