This is a movie of dutch origin, myself being a belgium I've watched this movie directed by famous dutch director Paul Verhoeven. The original movie title is Zwartboek and Black book is the exact translation of this. The movie resolves around a young jewish women whose family get killed while trying to escape the nazi's. She then ends up helping the opposition and gets herself a job as secretary for a nazi chief. What starts out as a flirt for information becomes love. The movie isnt a feelgood movie at all like Yazon said but a harsh drama about the horrors in the war and also shows the humanity of the chief she falls in love with. It really is a very beautiful film and if you have a chance of watching it I would recommend you do! 4.5/5 stars drama, sidenote, Black Book was the dutch sendin for the Oscars
