This is a great moive, It had a lot of action.
And you could wacth it over and over again, if how good it trued out. It shows old faviotes like Optimus prime, and makes you rember the old Cartoon form the 80s and so on.

After waiting a year till I finally got to see it......I really wanted this film to be better than it turned out to be.

With the exception of "Pearl Harbour", I really enjoy Michael Bay films, they may lacks brains but they are always entertaining, and the fact that this time he decided to take on giant warring robots, how could I not be excited.

The fight sequences are great, the cast was good, I was also pleased to see both "Buffy"'s Tom Lenk and "Prison Break"'s Amaury Nolasco in a big Hollywood film too.

My problem lies within the humour of the film. Yes Michael does humor in his other films, but he always knows the right amount needed and at the right times, but this film's humour just felt like `prat fall` after `prat fall`. And not just the zero to hero characters, everyone was at it. The Army Guys, The Government Officials, The Autobots, and even The Decepticons.

Sure the film's supposed to have a level of kitsch about it as it's based on a cartoon series, but this was just ridiculous, the humour of the "Speed Racer" film was probably less childish than this. It's a `12` rated film for goodness sake!

So overall: Action great, character evolvement embarassing.

The only reason I enjoyed this movie is because of the amazing action and the really well done special effects. All I have to say.

However the girl that he likes seems a bit odd somehow. Even the Transformers' personalities seems easier to relate to than hers. I'm not dissing the acting, but maybe they didnt create much of a good character for the girl to be. But overall the film was still entertaining :)

Definitely my favorite movie of 2007.It is basically about this kid who wants a car but little does he know the car he gets is a robot by the name of Bumblebee. The AUTOBOTS are the good robots while the DECEPTICONS are the ones trying to get ultimate power and destroy the entire universe. Transformers have always been that little animation show that noone watched and it stopped airing well they now have a new series it sucks too but anyway i'm getting off track, this movie is the second biggest blockbuster hit of 2007, the first is Alvin and the Chipmunks.
