It wasn't that good it was okay.There wasn't a lot of action.Still it was entertaining.New characters again.The story was not about the Half Blood Prince a little but not enough.It was good but not great.

I loved this movie and I think that it is the best in the series so far. It balanced action, relationships, secrets, friendships, and all. The pacing and cinematography both are the best in the series.

Perplexing. posotively dripping with british flavor, hindering its international appeal. I honestly didnt care for it much. Compareably dull to previous HP films. It lacked a major action sequence, and appearance of the primary villian. Its much too far fetched for anyone who hasnt followed the books or even the films thus far , to appreciate. The franchise feels like its lost its charm and is winding down, becoming darker and melancholy.

Dark secrets revealed...but no spoilers don't worry.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was a very well adaptation of the well written J.K Rowling novels. The movie once again follows the tale of the teenage wizard that everyone knows as Harry Potter in his quest to stop the "Dark Lord" from taking over the world and such. the movie follows the book rather well and interprets the words very well at that. There were some brilliant moments as well as some not brilliant moments thanks to some dry unneeded humor that at times felt out of place. Though these little things can be overlooked due to the great representation of the book and through some rather good acting. The film at times can seem a little dull and lacks some liveliness and color and can be rather slow during dialogue sequences but what can you do when creating a movie based on a novel?

The movie at times will feel like "Twilight" but don't let this throw you off, Harry Potter was a great film even if at some points will feel like a teenage love movie.

Overall the movie entertained me and was a fantastic improvement over the piece of trash 5th movie. In the end Harry Potter will should be enjoyed, a highly recommendable film for all.

Ok, I need to revise what I had put in before, as much as I still enjoyed this as much as I did the first time, I went back for a second round and realized something, some things in this film are not done like they did in the first. For all the complaints of the transitions in the last few films (Like the newspaper reports in the last one) it was a great way to put out a lot of details fast, this seems to miss even a basic set up for some things. take for example the sequence with the Lucky potion (don't ask me to spell it). Now where he went was fine, but there should have been just a bit more about the spider before this, just having it pop up was out of nowhere. another point like this us how harry got the chocolates with the love poition... they just kind of popped up in the movie with no explination.

Since I know the story these things didn't bother me much, but I do have to say that this is the first one that would be hard for a newbe to watch.

The second best Harry Potter, right behind Goblet of Fire. A magnificent film installment in a magical series that has captured the hearts of people everywhere. David Yates did a great job balancing teen drama and action, which was scarce in this film. The ending was very close to that of the book, which was satisfying. The film had a very grim feel to it, with occasional humor to lighten the mood. I strongly recommend this movie to anyone and everyone who is wanting quality entertainment.
