Wendy has a premonition that the rollercoaster she is on will crash. She decides to get out and takes along some friends who are also in the coaster. Turns out that the coaster really crashes. Now, Death is following them and Wendy and her friends must defeat Death.

It was good, I'd watch it again if someone asked me to. it was pretty much the same as the other two except for the photos. It was just ok for me, I expected more.

Just as in the first two entries in this series, the movie presents us with a pack of teens who momentarily cheat the reaper (in the first film, they got off a doomed plane; in the second, the kids avoided a freeway pile-up) only to find that death never takes a holiday. Here, the kids hop off a roller coaster moments before it derails.

In "Final Destination 3," there's a particular emphasis on exploding heads, which must have been hell on the movie's syrup budget. Suffice it to say that the good folks in McKinley (the movie's setting) will never win any safety awards, though anyone boarding a roller coaster through the bowels of Satan should possess the self-awareness to know what they're getting into.

The movie's one-dimensional characters exist solely to be dismembered, decapitated, bludgeoned, set afire, squashed or nail-gunned. Wong and Morgan, eager to please, dispense with messy things like feelings and fear and crank up the assembly line, mutilating a new body every few minutes. It's a grim picture in every possible sense.

I was at a friends house, and we were going over his massive collection of DVDs and we came across this film. My initial reaction was, "Huh, they did a third one?"

But, in retrospect, I do recall saying that I would never see this movie when an ad came on television. Alas, I did see it. It's awful. But, at least it's awful in the way that all bad horror flicks should be. First, there's very little consistancy, most notable comes in the very beginning, when our heroine envisions the roller coaster crash. When she throws a fit, she and her cohorts end up off the ride, which promptly crashes anyway. The problem here is that the character carrying the video camera which actually cause the crash in her vision, ends up off the train as well. It's all down hill from there folks. Of course, they again recall the fate of those that weren't on flight 180, but in an even more loose manner than the second. The only redeeming value of this film is that the deaths are terribly fun to watch. The set-ups for each are nearly as good as the previous films, so, it's not bad. Of course, I thought the second was better than the first, but none of these were all that good to begin with. Would I watch it again? Yeah, sadly I probably would... although I'd have to be doing something else at the same time.
