This is a story of learning to accept change. Once Luke (Harris) and Jackie (Sarandon) divorce, their children Anna and Ben need to adapt to their changing relationships with both of them separately. Luke complicates the matter when he gets involved with Isabel (Roberts), moves her into his life and house, and proposes marriage. This sends Anna and Ben into a fury, as they would like their family restored. Isabel struggles to gain acceptance from all three members of the family, Jackie, who is cold towards her, Anna who is out-right rude, and Ben, who just struggles to understand the change. The cards are all laid out on the table, when the situation drastically changes. Can a fatal condition drop all of the hostility, and bring these people together? Watch how the hand plays out.
