Yo ho! Here we go again! A sequel to "The Curse of the Black Pearl", and a good one of that.

The movie is long, perhaps, but the way it is cut makes it feel rather short. It is also confusing, at times, but the plot explains itself pretty quickly, filling out the gaps it might have - and there is always a chance for a second view, which shall no doubt make the movie all the better.

But despite being a brilliant sequel, there are also flaws with said "gaps". The scenes are a bit jumpy sometimes, and the serene, well-structured pace of the first movie is gone. With some extensions to steady "The Dead Man's Chest", I would rate this movie with full 5 stars.

Captain Jack is indeed back - as promised - as the ever "charming" himself; but he has less screen-time than one might think. In the true spotlight, we have William Turner (Orlando Bloom), who makes an amazing performance. His character is finally given the well-earned depth. Riddled with angst, he really has some bearing behind his actions.

There is great humor to be experienced, swift turns in the plot, intense action that has little breaks without turning boring at any point, amazing visual look - and already familiar characters that we all love - or hate.

Go, see, enjoy!

Okay,this movie was a little weird.It had good action,but not great action.The romance between Will and Elizabeth was over the top.The story was not well plotted out.The movie was just okay.

Not as good as the first but just enough to be better than the third. Exciting but not as exciting as the first. A little weird but the third one was weirder.

This movie was great, but it didn't have the same charm as the first and third ones. The ending was great, but scenes like the cannibal one were completely pointless and did not contribute to the story AT ALL! Overall, a good movie.

I lloovvee this series so much!! Captain Jack Sparrow is so cute and very funny! Even though this movie isn't the best, like the first one, it was still very funny! Johnny Depp's the best!!

I love these movies! I really think they did a good job with this one. Most of the time the second movie isn't that great. But this one still had the action and humor to keep it entertaining.

this is amazing and blowing and has more comedy in it. it was better then first one. it not long and has good pilot to it. but i did not like the ending it should add with a good scene. but i will give 10 of 10. i own both of them and i still love...

I had to watch this film a couple of times to get everything in. It is one of those films you really need to concentrate on in order to make sure you don't have any plot holes in your mind when you go to see the final installment of this series. I enjoyed the adventurous spirit of this movie, and the boldness of Elizabeth Swan. Keira Knightly is a gem in this role. She seems to have a great chemistry with Johnny Depp (Captain Jack Sparrow "savvy?") and Orlando Bloom (Will Turner). Bringing in the character of Davy Jones was excellent, but I don't know if bringing back Barbosa was smart in the end. That is the only part where I got confused. I will probably still wonder why he isn't still dead when I see the last movie. Four stars for this one.
