A good remake of the original classic Disney film. I liked this one better, but the original is still very good. Tim Allen does a great job in this movie.

If you've seen Liar Liar, or Doctor Dolittle, you've already seen this movie then. The three belong in the same universe, because they're all three essentially the same movie, just a little different, but the Shaggy Dog combines both Liar Liar and Doctor Dolittle into one movie. It's a predictable movie, with you're typical story line of an overworked father, never there for the family...Yada, Yada, Yada, the end. We all know the story, and know what's going to happen before the characters do. There isn't anything redeeming about the movie, not even Robert Downey, Jr..

I think that this movie had its moments of being funny. I really like Tim Allen on it, and I thought that he was really cool. The way he acted as a dog was awesome, and the plot was good too.
