Infernal Affiars is the movie that inspiered Martin Scoresese to do last years oscar winnig movie: "The Departed". I´m affraid i have to say i like the newer version a little more, but that might have something to do with that i saw it first. The story is complicated but great. The acting is good, and the script is well written. The director isn´t a Joh Woo ut he does a great job with this movie. I will probably check out the sequels.

For a long time I've heard of this movie, how the story was awesome and how recently The Departed is exactly the same as movie. Both is true. The story is indeed great and yes, The Departed is very much the same (story, characters, scenes, dialogue). It was a tad confusing at the start though, it was as if I missed the first thirty minutes of the movie.

Chinese superstars in it. Andy Lau and Tony Leung did a marvelous job along with the rest of the cast. Eric Tsang is a great actor too his just mean and a cruel little guy like always from his other movies.
