An enjoyable movie that was pretty funny. Although it's been done so many times before and this movie didn't bring anything really new. The script was pretty predictable and the cast couldn't do much to save it. I have to admit I did have a fun laughs anyway. Definitely a movie to rent and watch.....if someone elese is paying.

I will be honest with you but billy bob thornton seems to be stuck in a rutt. He keeps making the same kinds of movie playing the same kinds of character. The nasty jerk who treats everybody like crap. In this movie he plays a nasty jerk who treats everybody like crap. He treated Scott like crap when he was a kid so when Scott comes home to accept an award he finds out that woodcock is dating his mother. That is where the "comedy" is supposed to happen. Scott cannot stand woodcock and when they get engaged Scott is out for blood. The plot of this movie is horrible as is the acting. Scott is normally a very funny actor but in this movie he has really nothing to work with. Thornton plays the part that in a few years Scott might actually be playing. There are very very few funny scenes in the movie. This is a bad movie not worth a viewing skip it at all costs. Horrible.

This movie is for people who know nothing about moives and have never heard of the movie GoodFellas. For actual movie buffs like myself, this movie sucked. This is 3 on my Worst of 2007 list. People, for your own sakes, dont waste the 6 0r 9 dollars. And if you do see it, well, I'll pray for you.
