I absolutely love this movie. The story of George Reeves is a very sad one, and even more hard for fans of "Adventures of Superman" to watch. Now, it is nothing for movie stars to become TV stars, but it was something to be ashamed of in Reeves' day. In a way, George Reeves was a pioneer. The movie is very interesting, thanks to a huge part Ben Affleck. Affleck really does an amazing job making Reeves a very human character and shows how different he was to his TV personna Superman. At the end of the film, I literally want to cry because of the final scenes of Reeves in his room. You feel sorry for the guy, even more so since this is based on the true story. Great acting and a very well written script

wow! this film is good. affleck plays george reeves as he is cast in a part he doesn't want (superman) he both accepts and declines the fame and expectations that come with being a childrens role model. some scenes are that well acted/shot/produced you forget youre watching a film (the can i shoot you with a real gun scene particular) i like also the way that Simo and reeves are two peas from the same pod- like when we first meet reeves jumping into a photograph so that his face will make the papers, then when Simo does the same with reeves mother when she is being photographed. i also might think some of the lines in the film were the reason affleck took the role as he plays a man whom he shares similar traights, also reeves views on superman may also be likened to afflecks film daredevil... have a listen and you'll see what i mean

"Hollywoodland" was really a well done movie starring Ben Affleck and Diane Lane. I thought the script was well written and the story was very intriguing.
