Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment bring Curious George, the original "monkey see, monkey do" chimp, to the screen in an all-new animated adventure based upon the beloved tales that have been enchanting readers for more than 60 years. George, the inquisitive little guy with an insatiable taste for adventure, sets off in a brand new tale for the big screen, where his spunky and fun-loving nature endears him to new friends he meets along thre way and (of course) lands him in a series of (mis)adventures. Though the story of a monkey, "Curious George" is also the story of "The Man in the Yellow Hat," Ted, who finds himself lamenting the pending closing of the museum where he works. The curator's son plans to sell for use as a parking lot, so Ted searches for a spectacular relic to use as a new exhibit. On his quest, he meets a friendly monkey who follows him all the home from Africa. George helps him to find and appreciate the spirit of curiosity and the fun things in life.
