I sort of enjoyed this movie however the big difference was that it didn't have that charm for me when I was a kid. I just recently watched the Chipmunk Adventure and I still got that nostalgic charm but this doesn't cut it. CGI chipmunks are alright but I'm just not use to them like that. However I will give it this. The personalities are still the same whether Alvin is a trouble maker, or Theodore is gentle and adorable. I think they should make movies 2D again. It wouldn't hurt if they did that.

Overall, an enjoyable movie. The three cute chipmunks, a few good laughs, and the music are what I enjoyed the most. However, the plot could have been improved and there could have been fewer "gross humor" jokes, then the movie would...

Overall, an enjoyable movie. The three cute chipmunks, a few good laughs, and the music are what I enjoyed the most. However, the plot could have been improved and there could have been fewer "gross humor" jokes, then the movie would have been excellent from start to finish. It's a lot better when it's watched the first time.
