oh dear, Burton falls short with this film remake. if you want a fantastic film then watch the original, if you want a modern version that is "okay" and dark, but with no substance then watch this version.

A strange and boring remake with a dull stroyline and annoying monkeys as the enemy. The film drags along and has uninteresting characters, but when the fight scenes come, they're actually very good.

This film completely changes the original. Gone are the ideas behind the first that show up so well and so strongly and this one seems to be lacking a lot more.
