Weird movie with some stunning visuals. I just didn't get it, the characters were difficult to understand, the story was a collection of coincidences and while it was at times funny, it never seemed to make a coherent impression.

Life Aquatic is the latest (as of this review) movie from director Wes Anderson. For those who don't know Anderson's style, he includes a lot of dry humor, which really makes Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou's humor a hit or miss for most people....

I am a huge fan of Wes Anderson, but, for me, this movie just didn't really hit the spot. I thought the humor was drier than usual and the movie seemed much too long.

I love all of Wes Anderson's movies, but this is my favorite. It's the funniest and it has the most Bill Murray, two facts that certainly are related. This is the movie that made me realize that I like Jeff Goldblum. "Leopard fish?"...
