Daniel Craig stars as "XXXX," a top-notch cocaine and ecstasy drug runner in the English mafia. He purchases drugs from violent wholesalers and peddles them to dealers on the street with an eye towards allowing the drug trade to stay its normal course for his bosses as he continues to add some easy cash to his already well-established wealth. On the verge of finally retiring from the dangerous drug business so that he can live a quiet and peaceful life, XXXX's boss, Jimmy Price (Kenneth Cranham), has two final favors to ask of XXXX. He must first locate the runaway, drug-addicted daughter of mob boss Eddie Temple (Michael Gambon) before Eddie's goons capture her. Secondly, he must negotiate the sale of a large quantity of ecstasy with "The Duke" (Jamie Foreman) so that Jimmy can get the ecstasy back to Dragan (Dragan Micanovic), an ecstasy wholesaler from whom "The Duke" stole the ecstasy. As XXXX attempts to complete these final two favors, he falls for Tammy (Sienna Miller), who is "The Duke's" nephew's girlfriend, which could prove to be fatal.
