This is a college comedy, fairly typical to genre with a few atypical aspects.

The story is that, trough the course of events, the main character has to sell fifty pills og ectasy in a day, so that he may pay the remainder of his tuiton, else he be kicked out of the dorm.

The comedy in the film is mostly derived from the wierd people, and equally wierd situations these people put him in, he's selling the ectasy to. And, of course, there's a love story; a girl that has to be won. A lot of the situations that arise are cliches, but in the end it doesn't detract that much from the experience because of the strong performances.

The actors (and actresses)all give good performances. They somehow manage to sell you on some of the scenes, even though you feel like you've seen them before. I'll especially point out a supporting role played by Eddie Kay Thomas as superb.

The has a few decent laughs, but mostly just chuckles. The strong performances and the few really funny bits raise it above the average college comedy. This is the kind of film that okay to see if there is no other good film running, or you're into college comedies. It's not a film I would reccomend seeing, but there's certainly no reason why you shouldn't.
