At times visual stunning. Profound.
Evocative.

Dark memories of a dark soul, leading us through his trembling transom. An excellent film. Worth every minute.

This was one great movie, it really had an impact on me. I must admit the first 30 minutes were a bit slow but the after things got under way it proved an impressive experience. Wong Kar Way did a great job in expressing the various feeling of the main character with great visual metaphors. The acting is also very solid, specially Tony Leung and Gong Li. One piece of advice though: do not watch this movie with english voice-doubling, it ruins it; the normal chinese version with english subtitles is by far the best choice. Seen as how good this movie was I will definitely check out Wong Kar Wai's other movies. 9.5 out of 10.
