I really enjoyed this movie and think that he hit the balance between gore and story. Being a huge fan of the genre and Romero could cloud my views on this movie but I don't care. Watch this film!

this ones alright good gore and violence some pretty good characters and scenes but one thing that ruined it for me is they made it out that the zombies were actually sort of the good guys or somthing and them using guns is kind of stupid I think

People who have watched the other Dead movies will get some of the stuff people who haven't complain about... "big Daddy" starting to remember his waking life (Like Bud in Day of the Dead)... where the zombies came from (well, actually, Romero never really said... but suggestions are made in Night and Dawn)... and how the world got the way it is (see all the other Dead for the progression and decline)...
But over all, this movie was everything i wanted and expected of the next installment... Solid action/adventure zombie movie from the Father of said movies... even has the social commentary and overall creepy factor of the others...only now instead of a farm house, a mall, or an underground bunker... the survivors have a whole city to be trapped in.

The plot is pretty boring and corny, especialy the zombie leader who learns things...that`s...
While this is far from as good as his early movies in the series like: "Night Of The Living Dead" or "Dawn Of The Dead" George A. Romero once again proofs that he is the master of the zombie genre.

I must've missed something, because I did not enjoy this film very much. It was very empty. Zombie invasion, for some reason. One Zombie (who used to work at a Gas station I believe) becomes super intelligent, again for some unknown reason. And That's all that really sticks in my mind. Maybe I didn't enjoy it, because I prefer films to either tell an interesting story, or just get to the point. This film did neither for me. The action scenes were quite good, but the story felt so hollow, and most events in the film had no reason or explanation whatsoever. So, this while this film does have a few scenes worth watching, it isn't exactly a film you can really get into.
